To keep the trail safe for pedestrians and other uses, motorized sport vehicles of any kind aren’t allowed anywhere on the Jordan River Parkway Trail.  Motorized sport enthusiasts are in luck! There is actually a place you can go right along the Jordan River that is dedicated just to this. Just northwest of the Rose Park neighborhood in Salt Lake City, is the Jordan River OHV State Recreation Area. With four tracks, including two motocross (MX) tracks for off-highway motorcyclists, and two dual-purpose OHM and ATV tracks, there’s no need to drive hours away to get your fix. They also offer educational courses and the occasional spectator event.
