The Jordan River Commission (JRC) is seeking qualified photographers and videographers to capture the beauty and activity along the Jordan River during the spring and summer of 2025. The resulting images and videos will be used for our website, social media, event marketing materials, and outreach efforts.
Project Scope:
The selected vendor will provide the following services:
- Photography:
- Capture high-resolution images of various subjects, including:
- Natural landscapes and wildlife along the Jordan River.
- Recreational activities (e.g., kayaking, biking, walking).
- Community events and volunteer activities.
- Commission projects and initiatives.
- Provide a diverse range of shots, including wide-angle, close-up, and action shots.
- Deliver edited and retouched images in digital format (JPEG, PNG).
- Capture high-resolution images of various subjects, including:
- Videography:
- Produce short, engaging videos showcasing the Jordan River and its related activities.
- Capture high-quality video footage, including interviews, action shots, and scenic views that can be used for future promotional use
- Provide professional editing, including color correction, audio mixing, and titling.
- Deliver videos in digital format (MP4).
- Timeline:
- Services will be required between Mid April to Mid August 2025.
- The following events are required to document:
- Earth Day River Cleanup (April 22)
- One City Nature Challenge (April 25-28)
- Golden Spoke Bike Ride (May 10)
- One Paddle the River event (Fridays in May/June)
- One Bike or Walk activity (date TBD)
- One Second Saturday Cleanup (multiple options)
- One Restoration Project (date tbd)
- Flexible dates to capture natural footage and photos as outlined.
- Deliverables:
- A minimum of 40 high-resolution photographs.
- A minimum of 3 short videos (30-60 sec) or 1 longer video (1-3min).
- Deliver all raw footage shot to the Commission for use in future promotion.
- Ownership of all delivered media will transfer to the Jordan River Commission.
Budget:
The total budget for this project is $5,000.
