As part of the Get to the River Festival, join us at Bingham Junction Park for a special outdoor screening of UPRIVER, a documentary by Jeremy Monroe & David Herasimtschuk, that highlights the restoration of the Willamette River in Oregon. Co-hosted with Midvale City and the Jordan River Commission, this inspiring film showcases the incredible efforts of communities working together to protect and restore vital river ecosystems. Bring a blanket, bring some snacks and drinks and enjoy the evening, and learn about the power of environmental restoration.
Pre-screening social hosted by the Jordan River Event Advisory Committee, will start at 7 pm and the movie will be shown at dusk, around 7:45 pm. (run time 58 min)
UPRIVER is a ‘watershed film’ that explores one of the Nation’s most active river conservation movements. Within Oregon’s Willamette River system, the film focuses on people from all walks of life who are coming together to revive the health of this large river and the life it supports.
