JORDAN RIVER COMMISSION

Jordan River Walk and Talk Series | Week 2

September 9 at 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Hosted by Center for Documentary Expression and Art, Jordan River Commission

This special edition of our Walk and Talk series will start at 5:30pm instead of the usual 5pm start time.

Join the Center for Documentary Expression and Art and the Jordan River Commission for a Get to the River walk and talk along the River. We will highlight the history and ecology of the Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve and the creative collaboration with the Center for Documentary Expression and Art. We will open with a nature oriented photo activity and conclude with a meditation and writing activity. The Jordan River Migratory Bird Reserve is located in South Jordan and includes 120+ acres of restored riparian habitat. The reserve provides necessary habitat for neo-tropical migratory songbirds. These birds breed at the reserve and elsewhere in the U.S. and Canada in the summer, and then return to Mexico and Central and South America each winter.
