Help remove puncturevine (A.K.A. goathead) from the Jordan River Trail.
Help us restore natural habitat along the Jordan River by removing invasive puncturevine (A.K.A. goatheads)! . This invasive species impacts native plants and trail users. Activities require stooping and bending with weeding tools. These activities help re-establish a healthy environment for both wildlife and people to enjoy.
Event location will be determined based on need and communicated as soon as possble.
What to Bring & Wear:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
- A reusable water bottle – we will provide a cooler for refills
Hogle Zoo will provide all necessary tools for the event.
Please submit one registration per participant. Adult guardians may register children who are volunteering with them.
