Help remove Scotch thistle, a persistent invasive species along the river corridor.

Help us restore natural habitat along the Jordan River! We will remove Scotch thistle, a persistent invasive species along the river corridor. Volunteers will clip flower heads to prevent seed spread.This helps to re-establish a healthy environment for both wildlife and people to enjoy.

Exact event location will be determined based on need and communicated as soon as possible.

What to Bring & Wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
  • A reusable water bottle – we will provide a cooler for refills

Hogle Zoo will provide all necessary tools for the event.

Please submit one registration per participant. Adult guardians may register children who are volunteering with them.
